A cocaine dealer has been jailed after we found drugs hidden in a hair brush in Tamworth.
Hygert Cahani, 20, of no fixed address, was stopped alongside a Mazda 2 at Texaco Garage, Glascote Road, on 30 October. The keys were in the ignition at the time and no-one else was inside.
When Cahani admitted to officers that he had driven the car to the location, we searched it and found 16 deals of cocaine hidden in a hairbrush inside. Cahani had £320 in cash on him along with a mobile phone and was wanted for immigration offences at the time.
After being charged with possession with intent to supply cocaine, driving otherwise than in accordance with a license and using a motor vehicle without third party insurance, Cahani pleaded guilty to the offences in court.
On Thursday (12 December), he was sentenced to 10-months’ imprisonment and was disqualified from driving for two-years-and-five-months.
