We have made an arrest after finding an estimated £4,000-worth of heroin and cannabis inside a home in Stoke-on-Trent.
Officers from our major and organised crime team carried out a search warrant in Birches Head following concerns from local people about suspected drug dealing.
We found around £1,000-worth of heroin inside, £3,000-worth of cannabis and £3,000 in cash.
A 17-year-old boy, from Stoke-on-Trent, has been arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply heroin and cannabis.
He was questioned in custody and released under investigation.
We’re continuing to target those involved in serious and organised crime as part of our Making Great Places initiative with Stoke-on-Trent City Council.
Since it was launched, we have arrested more than 150 people and charged more than 30 with offences as part of a crackdown in Shelton and Hanley Park.
