We want to speak to the man pictured after a number of cars were set alight in the Hednesford area recently.
The fires took place between midnight and 3am on Monday (9 December) on Mount Street and Green Heath Road.
Colleagues from Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service attended the area and worked to put out the fires.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fires have been deemed deliberate by the fire service and we are investigating.
We have reviewed CCTV footage of the area at the time of the fires and are releasing an image of a man we wish to speak to in connection with what happened.
He is described as white, with a long beard and was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt with a small logo on the right side and light-coloured trousers with socks pulled up over the trouser bottoms. He was also wearing dark trainers and gloves.
Anyone who recognises the man in the image is asked to contact us quoting incident number 043 of 9 December.
To report anonymously, contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
