A woman has been arrested after another woman was stabbed in Stafford.
At 11.05pm last night (Wednesday 21 August), we were called to Sidney Avenue following reports that a woman had been stabbed in the abdomen.
Officers went to the scene alongside paramedics from West Midlands Ambulance Service.
A woman was taken to hospital. Her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing at this time.
A 48-year-old woman, from Stafford, has been arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent.
She remains in custody.
