Two men have been arrested after officers found drugs, cash and a mobile phone when they searched a car in Stoke-on-Trent.
At around 1.30pm on Saturday (27 July) we stopped a black Vauxhall Astra on King Street in Fenton.
When officers searched the vehicle they found drugs, approximately £100 cash, a mobile phone, and a bottle containing codeine.
A 20-year-old, from the Stoke-on-Trent area, was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a drug of class B, while another man, also 20 and from the Stoke-on-Trent area, was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a drug of class B, driving a vehicle while unfit through drugs, failing to provide a specimen for analysis, and obstructing/resisting a constable in the execution of their duty.
Both men have been released under investigation while our enquiries continue.
