Three more men have been arrested today (Thursday 15 August) as our investigation continues into the violent disorder in Stoke-on-Trent and Tamworth.
A 33-year-old man, from Stoke-on-Trent, and two 28-year-old men, from Tamworth, have been arrested on suspicion of violent disorder.
They will be questioned by detectives in custody.
We’ve now arrested 43 people in connection with the disorder and charged nine with offences. More will come in Staffordshire as we continue to robustly investigate.
We’d like to thank everyone who is continuing to provide information around those responsible on our major incident public portal. This has led to a number of suspects being identified.
