A teenage boy has been charged as we continue to investigate the disorder in Tamworth on Sunday (4 August).
The 16-year-old boy, who can’t be named for legal reasons, from Tamworth, has been charged with violent disorder and assault by beating of an emergency worker.
He is due to appear at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre today (Wednesday 7 August).
Two more men have been arrested in connection with the same disorder. A 28-year-old and a 43-year-old, both of Tamworth, have both arrested on suspicion of violent disorder.
