A man has been arrested after we found £7,500-worth of cocaine and cannabis during raids on two houses in Stoke-on-Trent.
Just after 8am yesterday (Thursday 15 August) proactive officers from our major and organised crime teams executed warrants at addresses in Burslem and Norton.
They seized around 70g of cocaine, worth £2,500, cannabis vegetation, worth £5,000, £400 in cash and a mobile phone.
A 30-year-old man, from the Stoke-on-Trent area, has been arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a class A drug (cocaine). He has been released under investigation while our enquiries continue.
We launched Operation Target in May last year and have been working with local police forces to disrupt and pursue criminals who plan, organise and commit serious criminal offences across the county, including drug supply, illegal firearms, knife crime, human trafficking and sexual exploitation.
