Bayley Hope, aged 18, of no fixed address, has been charged with three counts of attempted burglary dwelling with intent to steal.
It comes after we sent officers to the Sandford Hill area in Longton yesterday (Wednesday 31 July) after multiple reports that a man was trying door handles to addresses between 1.50am and 2.25am.
Hope is due to appear at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre today (1 August).
We’re still keen to speak to anyone who has any CCTV, dashcam or doorbell footage of the area at the time yesterday. You can call 101, quoting incident 307 of 31 July, or use Live Chat on our website.
