A man has been arrested after we stopped a suspicious vehicle in Stoke-on-Trent.
We were called just before 10.30pm on Saturday (27 July) and 1.10am on Sunday (28 July) to reports of a black car with blue lights and a siren in the Tunstall area.
Just after 1.30am on Sunday, officers located and stopped a black BMW on Broomhill Street.
A 40-year-old man, from Stoke-on-Trent, has been arrested on suspicion of impersonating a police constable, driving whilst unfit through drink, using a vehicle on the road without third party insurance, and being a disqualified person obtaining a driving licence.
He has been released on police bail while our enquiries continue.
