Two men have been arrested after we found class A drugs and mobile phones in Stoke-on-Trent.
Officers from our major and organised proactive teams, alongside neighbourhood colleagues, stopped a black BMW with two men inside, on Alberta Street, Longton, at around 3.15pm on Monday (12 August).
A front seat passenger ran off from the scene but was followed and stopped by officers. Heroin, cocaine and two mobile phones were found nearby.
A 22-year-old man, from Stoke-on-Trent, was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply heroin and cocaine.
A 19-year-old man, also from Stoke-on-Trent, was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of heroin and cocaine.
Both men have been released under investigation while our enquiries continue.
