We have found a cannabis grow that had been set up in a wooded area next to a care home in Burton-on-Trent.
At 3.15pm yesterday (Tuesday 13 August), we were called to Reservoir Road when someone spotted electrical wires that had been buried a few feet underground, leading to a number of tents in the woods.
Inside the tents were cannabis plants that were being cultivated using a dangerous electricity bypass.
The wires, which had been set-up on the same electricity grid as a nearby care home, were made safe by Western Power.
Between 40 and 50 plants were seized from the scene as our investigation to identify those responsible continues.
