We have launched an investigation following a suspected firearms discharge in Burton-on-Trent.
We received reports of gunshots being heard on Ordish Street at 6.20pm last night (8 August 2024).
Witnesses saw a red Ford Fiesta had collided with a grey Astra and man been assaulted by two masked men.
Firearms officers went to the scene and three cars have been seized.
We have no evidence that anyone was injured as a result of the suspected firearms discharge at this time.
