A woman has been arrested on suspicion of robbery after a man in his 80s was assaulted at his home in Stoke-on-Trent.
At 5.10pm on Monday 8 April, we got a call saying that a woman had gone inside the victim’s address, near Newcastle Street in Burslem, and kicked him before stealing his wallet.
The victim was shaken up, but is not believed to be seriously injured.
We’ve been carrying out enquiries to find out more about what happened and track down the suspect.
On Tuesday (16 April) a 44-year-old woman, from the Stoke-on-Trent area, was arrested on suspicion of robbery. She was questioned in custody and has since been released on conditional bail while our enquiries continue.
