Woman arrested following assault

A woman has been arrested following an assault in Stoke-on-Trent.

Just after 9pm yesterday (Wednesday 24 April) we got a call to Lightwood Road following reports of a fight involving about five people.

We quickly learned a woman, in her 20s, had been punched by another woman. 

Thankfully, her injuries were not serious.

Another woman was also followed by the woman who made threats to her.

A 21-year-old woman, from Stoke-on-Trent, was arrested on suspicion of assault and stalking.

She been released on conditional police bail while enquiries continue. 

Anyone who saw what happened or those with CCTV, dashcam or doorbell footage of the area at the time are asked to get in touch with us.
