Two men have been arrested following a stabbing in Stoke-on-Trent.
It happened during a fight between the victim, a man in his 20s, and a small group of people on Hope Street in Hanley just before 5am on Saturday 23 March.
Afterwards, the victim noticed he had stab wounds to his abdomen, back and shoulder. Thankfully, the injuries weren’t serious.
Following a public appeal, we have arrested two people:
A 31-year-old man, from Stoke-on-Trent, has been arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent and theft. He has been released on police bail while our investigation continues.
A 27-year-old man, also from the Stoke-on-Trent area, has been arrested on suspicion of assaulting a person occasioning them actual bodily harm. He has been released on conditional police bail.
Detectives still want to speak to three people (pictured) in connection with the incident. Anyone who recognises them, or those with any information that can help us, is urged to get in touch.
