A man and woman have been charged with drug offences after officers found cocaine and cash in Cheadle.
Ashley Loftus, 36, from Cheadle, has been charged with possession with intent to supply a class A drug (cocaine) and acquiring or possessing criminal property.
Sophie Hall, 29, and also from Cheadle, has been charged with possessing a controlled drug of class A (cocaine).
It comes after we stopped and searched a van on New Haden Road in Cheadle on Friday 15 July, 2022 and found around £1,000 worth of cocaine. We also searched an address in the town on the same day and found just over £800 in cash.
Both are due to appear at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre on Tuesday 2 July.
