Two people have been arrested following the death of a man in Stoke-on-Trent.
We were called to King Street, in Fenton, at 3.30am today (Friday 19 April), following reports that a man in his 40s had been found unresponsive inside a property. Sadly he died a short time later.
His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by officers. West Midlands Ambulance Service also attended.
A 53-year-old man and a 31-year-old man, both from the Stoke-on-Trent area, have been arrested on suspicion of administering poison with intent to endanger life.
They both remain in police custody while our inquiries continue.
