Three charged after £10m-cocaine stash discovered

Three men have been charged with drug supply offences after officers discovered around £10-million worth of cocaine.

Benjamin Holt, aged 42, of East Sussex, Mohamoud Mahamoud, aged 29, of West Drayton, Greater London, and Adam Vorster, aged 41, of Birmingham, have all been charged with possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of class A.

It comes after police stopped two vehicles that were involved in an exchange in Birmingham on Wednesday (10 April). We recovered 102-kilgrams of cocaine, worth an estimated street value of £10,000,000.

All three are due to appear at Birmingham Magistrates’ Court today (Friday 12 April).

Officers from the regional organised crime unit (ROCU) have been proactively targeting serious crime in Staffordshire, the West Midlands, Warwickshire and West Mercia as part of a continued crackdown called Operation Target.
