A man has been charged following a burglary in Stoke-on-Trent.
Daniel Hodgkinson, 37, from Norton, has been charged with burglary and theft, failing to provide a specimen for analysis, attempted theft of a motor vehicle, using a motor vehicle on a road or public place without third-party insurance, driving a motor vehicle which had been taken without the owner's consent, driving a motor vehicle dangerously, failing to stop after a road accident, possession of an offensive weapon in a public place, and assault by beating of an emergency worker.
It comes after we responded to a report of a burglary and the theft of a car in Norton on Wednesday (3 April).
Hodgkinson appeared at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre today (Friday 5 April), where he was remanded in custody ahead of his next appearance at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court on 6 May.
