A man has been charged after a woman was assaulted with a brick and a stick in Stoke-on-Trent.
Gary Kirkham, aged 42, of no fixed abode, has been charged with two counts of possessing an offensive weapon in a public place, one count of assaulting a person thereby occasioning actual bodily harm, affray, breaching a criminal behaviour order and two counts of criminal damage.
It comes after we were called to Derby Street in Hanley on Wednesday afternoon (10 April).
The victim was taken to hospital but wasn’t seriously injured.
Kirkham is due to appear at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre today (Friday 12 April).
