We have arrested four people following a burglary in Stoke-on-Trent.
We received reports just before 6.20am yesterday (Monday 1 April) of a group breaking into a business premises on Federation Road in Burslem.
Following enquiries, a 38-year-old man, of no fixed address, was arrested on suspicion of burglary and resisting a constable in the execution of their duties.
Two 49-year-old men, both from Stoke-on-Trent, and a woman, aged 29, and of no fixed address, were arrested on suspicion of burglary.
All three men have been released on conditional police bail while our investigation continues. The woman has been released with no further action.
Stoke North LPT (local policing team) commander, Chief Inspector Scott McGrath, said: “We don’t underestimate the profound impact that burglary can have on victims and the wider public. As such, we continue to target and take action against those responsible, working with a range of partners and using covert and overt tactics to reduce offending, protect the public and provide reassurance.”
