We are continuing to appeal for witnesses following a fatal collision in Pillaton, near Penkridge, earlier this year.
At around 7.45pm on Sunday 14 January, Sajid Ali, aged 50, was driving a blue Toyota Avensis on Cannock Road when there was a collision with a black Vauxhall Corsa.
He sadly died after suffering serious injuries at the scene. His family continue to be supported by specialist officers.

The passenger of the Toyota, a man in his late teens, was taken to hospital but has since been discharged.
The driver of the Corsa, a man in his 20s, was taken to hospital with serious injuries. He has undergone surgery and is currently in rehabilitation.
We’d like to thank those who have spoken to us already and have been helping with the investigation. We’re still keen to speak to any witnesses, including those who alerted others of the collision at the time.
We are particularly interested in speaking to a man who was driving towards Penkridge in a white Transit connect type van at the time who we think can help with our enquiries.
