We are appealing for information after a man was assaulted by a small group of masked men in Lichfield.
We got a call at about 3.20pm yesterday (Wednesday 24 April) to Weston Road when three men went inside a home and assaulted the victim.
After it happened, all three suspects ran away on Dimbles Lane.
The victim, a man in his 40s, was not seriously hurt. He went to hospital for treatment after suffering a cut to his face.
We have been looking over CCTV footage, speaking to people in the area and carrying out enquiries to find out more about what happened and trace the suspects.
Officers understand that the victim and the suspects are known to each other. We’re treating this as an isolated incident.
Anyone who has any information that can help us with our investigation is asked to get in touch by calling 101, quoting incident 474 of 24 April, or message us using Live Chat on our website.
