We have arrested two suspected drug dealers after finding deals of cocaine and cannabis in Cannock.
Officers stopped a blue Fiat in Hednesford at a petrol garage just after 1.15pm yesterday (Tuesday 19 September).
Class A and B drugs along with cash and mobile phones were seized.
A 20-year-old man, from Cannock, was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of cocaine and cannabis.
A 27-year-old man, of no-fixed-address, was arrested on suspicion of aiding the use of a motor vehicle without insurance, being concerned in the supply of class A drugs, driving without a license and possession with intent to supply cannabis.
Both men have been released under investigation whilst enquiries continue.
Work is continuing to proactively target the groups responsible for these crimes – including county lines, drug distribution, illegal firearms and sexual exploitation.
