We have arrested five men and two women in connection with conspiracy to sell class A drugs in Stoke-on-Trent and the Moorlands.
This morning (Thursday 6 September), we carried out a number of co-ordinated arrest warrants in the Longton, Dresden, Blurton, Fenton and Tean areas.
All seven people were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply Class A drugs and from Stoke-on-Trent. We arrested a 69-year-old man, two 22-year-old men, a 19-year-old woman, a 31-year-old woman, a 36-year-old man and a 25-year-old man.
They all remain in custody.
The activity follows our ongoing commitment to tackling serious and organised crime as part of Operation Target.
Since it was launched in June, we’ve charged more than 500 suspects with drug related offences and stop-and-searched more than 2,500 people.
