We are appealing for witnesses to come forward following a serious collision in the Staffordshire Moorlands.
Officers, paramedics from West Midlands Ambulance Service and Midlands Air Ambulance were called to Leek Road, Longnor, just before 12.20pm today (Friday 8 September).
A grey Nissan Qashqai and a red BMW motorbike were involved in a collision.
The motorcyclist, a man in his 50s, sustained serious injuries and taken to hospital.
A man and a woman from the Qashqai were taken to hospital for precautionary checks.
We are also keen to trace a possible witness to the collision, the driver of a blue Ford Fiesta which was being driven in the direction of the A53, towards the Winking Man pub.
Anyone who witnessed the collision or those with CCTV and dashcam footage from the area are asked to get in touch with us.
