We are appealing for information following a series of recent deliberate fires along a street in Stafford.
Since June, a total of five separate fires have been reported on North Castle Street, with all of them later being deemed deliberate .
Most recently, we were called to the area after a garden shed was set alight last Thursday (24 August).
Our colleagues from Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service extinguished the fire and later deemed the ignition to be deliberate.
Two fires were also reported in June, with both fires found at the rear of houses on the street.
Officers have been speaking to people in the area and reviewing footage around the fires as part of their enquiries.
Patrols in the area have been increased.
We are keen to speak to anyone with may have any information which can help us with our investigation.
Call us on 101, quoting incident 594 of 24 August, or message us using Live Chat on our website – www.staffordshire.police.uk
