We are appealing for information after a man was pushed to the floor and robbed in Rugeley.
At about 7.30pm on Thursday (21 September), the victim, a man in his 30s, was walking when he was pushed over from behind.
The unknown suspect then took his backpack and ran away. It had personal belongings and an Amazon Kindle inside.
Thankfully, the victim was helped by passers-by following the incident and was not hurt.
We’ve been looking at CCTV and speaking to people who were in the area at the time to find out more about what happened. We think the victim was pushed over on Birch Lane, just before the turning into St Michaels Road.
Officers are keen to speak to anyone with any information, particularly those who may have CCTV, dashcam or doorbell footage from the area at the time.
Call 101, quoting incident 609 of 21 September, or message us using Live Chat on our website.
