We are appealing for witnesses after a man died following a collision in Cannock.
The collision, involving a silver Volkswagen Up and a Yamaha motorbike, happened just after 12.30pm yesterday (Sunday 29 October) at the Orbital Islands.
We went to the scene with colleagues from Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service, West Midlands Ambulance Service and the air ambulance.
The rider of the motorbike, a 31-year-old man, from Tamworth, was treated by West Midlands and air ambulance paramedics but, despite their best efforts, sadly died.
Specially-trained officers are continuing to support his family.
The driver of the car stayed at the scene and has been helping us with our enquiries.
Anyone who witnessed the collision or those with CCTV and dashcam footage from the area are asked to get in touch with us.
Contact us by calling 101, quoting incident 366 of 29 October, or message us using Live Chat on our website.
