A man has been charged after we found class A and class B drugs, cash and weapons in Hednesford.
Qasif Hussain, 38, from Wolverhampton, has been charged with possession with intent to supply cocaine, crack cocaine, heroin and cannabis and possessing criminal property. He has also been charged with two counts of possessing an offensive weapon.
Hussain was remanded in custody and was due to appear at North Staffordshire Justice Centre today (Monday October 16).
It comes after we searched a man inside a van on Market Street, Hednesford, on Friday (13 October). We found class A and class B drugs alongside two mobile phones.
Officers then searched an address, finding more drugs and a quantity of cash.
A further address was searched where we discovered more drugs and weapons.
We are continuing to work with our neighbouring forces to tackle serious and organised crime as part of our Operation Target commitment.
