Four people have been arrested as we continue to investigate a stabbing in Stoke-on-Trent.
We were called to Kildare Street, Longton, at around 1.25am on Sunday (22 October).
The victim, a man in his 60s, was stabbed multiple times. He was treated by paramedics from West Midlands Ambulance Service and taken to hospital where he remains.
A 56-year-old man and a 48-year-old woman, from Stoke-on-Trent, were arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent.
A boy, 14, and a girl, 15, from Stoke-on-Trent, were also arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
All four have since been released on conditional police bail while enquiries continue.
Officers are keen to speak to anyone who saw what happened or those with any CCTV, dashcam or doorbell footage from the area at the time.
