The family of a motorcyclist who sadly died in a collision in Burton have paid tribute to him today.
Sam Bagley, aged 23, was riding his motorbike on Wellington Road yesterday (5 October) when he was involved in a collision with a lorry just before 6am.
Sadly, despite the best efforts of paramedics, Sam was pronounced dead at the scene.
In a statement, Sam’s family said: “Sam was a loving fiancé, brother and son; always up for anything with a real zest for life. There are no words, all our hearts hurt.”
We are continuing to investigate the circumstances around the collision and are asking anyone who witnessed the collision, or those with CCTV and dashcam footage from the area, to contact us.
