We are appealing for witnesses after a 23-year-old motorcyclist sadly died in a collision in Burton.
Just before 6am today (Thursday 5 October) a motorbike was in collision with a stationary lorry.
We attended the scene alongside West Midlands Ambulance Service. Despite the efforts of the emergency services, the rider sadly died at the scene.
Specialist officers are supporting the man's family at this difficult time. The road will be closed whilst a detailed examination of the scene is carried out.
Anyone who witnessed the collision, or those with CCTV and dashcam footage from the area, are asked to contact us.
