A teenage boy has been arrested after a man was assaulted outside a takeaway shop in Kettlebrook, Tamworth.
At 9pm last night (Sunday 2 July), we were called to Tamworth Road after a man was found with serious head injuries.
The victim, a man in his 40s, was taken to hospital by paramedics from West Midlands Ambulance Service but has since been discharged.
We arrested a 15-year-old, from Tamworth, on suspicion of wounding with intent.
He remains in custody.
Officers are keen to speak to anyone who may have information that could help with the investigation.
