A man has been arrested and charged after we found a large amount of heroin, crack cocaine, cash and other items linked to drugs at an address in Cannock yesterday (Tuesday 31 October).
Officers then searched a business unit in Heath Hayes, where they discovered suspected stolen property and a further amount of cash.
Derek Hodgkiss, 62, from Cannock, has been charged with being in possession with intent to supply heroin and crack cocaine, being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine and possession of criminal property. He is due to appear at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre tomorrow (Thursday 2 November).
A 36-year-old man, also from Cannock, admitted possession of crack cocaine after we stopped a black Ford Mondeo on Avon Road in the town at 2.50pm the same day. He will be interviewed at a later date.
