A man has been arrested after another man was assaulted in Cheadle on Saturday (4 November).
It happened just before 9.15pm on High Street. The victim, a man in his 30s, suffered minor injuries and went to hospital for precautionary checks.
A short time later, we arrested a 39-year-old man, from Cheadle, on suspicion of assault. He has since been released on conditional police bail while enquiries continue.
