We have arrested five people after a van collided with a home in Stoke-on-Trent recently.
It happened at about 2.40am on Sunday (19 November). A Ford Tourneo collided with an address near Pacific Road, Trentham.
One of the walls of the home collapsed after the collision. The people in the van at the time ran away from the area.
We went to the scene with our colleagues from Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service. They managed to free a woman who was trapped inside the home. Another woman was also inside at the time.
Thankfully, neither of them were seriously injured.
Officers started looking for the suspects and called in the National Police Air Service (NPAS) to help.
We later arrested five people:
All have been questioned about what happened and released on conditional police bail.
We are keen to speak to anyone who may be able to help with our investigation, particularly those with footage from the area when it happened.
