We are currently investigating a disorder where a man was assaulted in Stoke-on-Trent.
It happened at about 5.50pm on Monday (20 November). A man was hit by another man with a baseball bat on Oldfield Street, Fenton, following an argument.
The victim got to a place of safety in an address nearby. A group of men then turned up and forced their way inside. They threatened the victim before leaving.
The victim, a man in his 30s, was not seriously injured.
Officers set up a cordon in the area and have been speaking to people in the area to find out more about what happened.
A 28-year-old man, from Stoke-on-Trent, has since been arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary. He has been questioned in custody today (21 November) and released under investigation.
