Officers are appealing for information after a burglary where a group of men forced their way into a home in Harriseahead.
We received reports of a break-in at a property on High Street on Monday (20 November).
Three men forced their way inside at around 5.20pm after the victim, a man in his 80s, opened the door to them. One suspect then held him down whilst the others ransacked the property.
Gold jewellery was stolen from inside. It is not known at this time if other items were taken. The men later left in a silver Ford Focus.
Pc Noel Cullen, from CID North, said: “Following CCTV enquiries, we have identified three people we would like to speak to and a car we want to trace. One of the people in the image is wearing a distinctive jumper; do you recognise it?
“Thankfully the victim was not physically injured but he is understandably very shaken by this ordeal and we’re urging anyone with information to come forward.
“Also, if you have relevant CCTV or dashcam footage that could help us, please message us on our LiveChat via our website or call 101, quoting 548 of 20 November.”
If you want to report anonymously, call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
