Appeal for witnesses following fatal collision

We are appealing for witnesses after a man died after a collision in Trentham.

At 3.20pm yesterday afternoon (Thursday 23 November), we were called to Stone Road, near the Trentham Estate, to reports of a collision involving a pedestrian and a lorry. 

Officers went to the scene with paramedics from West Midlands Ambulance Service and the air ambulance.

Sadly, the man died at the scene. His next of kin have been informed and will be supported by specially-trained officers.

We are keen to speak to anyone with any CCTV or dashcam footage from the area or those with any information which could help collision investigators.
