We are appealing for information following a serious collision between two HGVs and a car on the M6 recently.
It happened at 2.30am on 1 November. A white Toyota Yaris was parked with its hazards on in lane one of the M6 southbound in Gailey. It was about 100 metres south of the slip road at junction 12.
The car was then involved in a collision with two lorries.
The driver and passenger of the Yaris were both taken to hospital with serious injuries. The driver remains in hospital. The passenger, 14, is now stable and has since been discharged.
The drivers of both HGV vehicles remained at the scene and have been helping officers with their enquires.
Specialist collision investigators are continuing to investigate what happened and are keen to speak to anyone with any information which could help. We are particularly interested in any dashcam footage of the area at the time.
