We are appealing for information after a woman sadly died following a collision in Burton-on-Trent.
It happened just before 9.30am on Saturday (25 November) on Evershed Way. A Rover 414 collided with a pedestrian.
We went to the scene with paramedics from West Midlands Ambulance Service.
The pedestrian, a woman in her 70s, was sadly pronounced dead a short time later. Specially trained officers are supporting her family at this difficult time.
The driver of the Rover was treated by paramedics and is assisting collision investigators with their enquiries.
Anyone with any dashcam, CCTV or doorbell footage of the area at the time are asked to get in touch with us by calling 101, quoting incident 240 of 25 November, or message us using Live Chat on our website. We are particularly keen to trace anyone who saw the pedestrian or vehicle involved before the collision, or the collision itself
