A new Commander with more than two decades’ experience has been appointed to lead the Staffordshire Moorlands local policing team (LPT).
Chief Inspector Mark Barlow, who started his career at West Midlands Police before transferring to us in 2006, started in post on 4 May and will be working locally alongside Inspector Karen Cooke.
He comes to the team having experienced a number of different neighbourhood roles across the county, including his work as Deputy Commander in Newcastle-under-Lyme and as Chief Inspector for the Stoke North LPT.
Mark said: “I look forward to supporting officers throughout the county and further strengthening our relationship with partners, as we all strive to address the issues that matter most to the community of the Staffordshire Moorlands.”
