We are appealing for witnesses after a man died following a collision in Stoke-on-Trent.
Just after 4.30pm yesterday (25 May), a red Ford Fiesta and a grey Dacia Duster collided on Bull Lane in Brindley Ford.
We went to the scene with colleagues from Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service and paramedics from West Midlands Ambulance Service.
Sadly, the driver of the Fiesta, a man in his 50s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
His family are being supported by specially-trained officers at this difficult time.
A woman, in her 80s and a passenger in the Duster, were both taken to hospital for treatment for minor injuries.
A girl was also treated at the scene by paramedics but did not need to go to hospital.
Officers from the collision investigation unit are particularly keen to speak to witnesses or those who may have CCTV or dashcam footage of the area at the time.
