Two people have been arrested as we continue to investigate a stabbing in Newcastle-under-Lyme.
At 2.30am on Sunday (25 June), we were called to Orme Road after a man was found with injuries to his arms and hands.
The victim, a man in his 30s, was taken to hospital by paramedics from West Midlands Ambulance Service but has since been discharged.
Officers have been reviewing CCTV footage and speaking with those who were in the area at the time to find out more about the incident.
This morning (28 June), we arrested a 20-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy, both from Newcastle-under-Lyme, on suspicion of wounding with intent.
They remain in custody.
Officers are still keen to speak to anyone who may have any information which could help with the investigation.
