A man who died in a collision in Tamworth can now be named.
Jarred Shaw, 27, from Measham, Leicestershire, was riding a black Yamaha motorbike on the A513, near to the Upper Gungate junction at 10.40pm on Monday (19 June) when he was involved in a collision with a white Ford Kuga.
We went to the scene along with paramedics from West Midlands Ambulance Service but sadly, Jarred was pronounced dead a short time later.
Specially-trained officers are continuing to support his family who have asked for their privacy to be respected at this difficult time.
Officers are continuing to ask for anyone who may have witnessed either vehicle being driven prior to the collision, saw the collision itself, or those with relevant CCTV or dashcam footage to get in touch.
Contact us via LiveChat on our website or call 101, quoting 917 of 19 June.
