We are appealing for witnesses after a man died following a collision in Tamworth.
Just after 10.40pm yesterday (Monday 19 June), a white Ford Kuga and a black Yamaha motorbike collided on the A513 Upper Gungate junction with Salters Lane.
Sadly, the rider of the motorbike, a man in his 20s, died at the scene.
His family are being supported by specially-trained officers at this difficult time.
The road was closed just after 11pm and reopened just before 5.50am this morning (Tuesday 20 June).
We are particularly keen to speak to witnesses or those who may have CCTV or dashcam footage of the area at the time.
Contact us by calling 101, quoting incident 917 of 19 June, or message us using Live Chat on our website.
You can also get in touch with our collision investigators directly by emailing [email protected]
