Appeal following fire at derelict building

We are appealing for information following a fire at a derelict building in Newcastle-under-Lyme.

We were called to Second Avenue, Kidsgrove, just before 6pm yesterday (28 June) to reports of a fire inside a single-storey building.

Colleagues from Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service extinguished the blaze and later deemed the fire to be started deliberately.

Officers have been reviewing CCTV footage and speaking to those who were in the area at the time.
