Two men have been charged after a man was stabbed in Stoke-on-Trent.
Usama Wajid, 23, of Stoke-on-Trent, has bee charged with Section 18 – wounding with intent, possess an offensive weapon in a public place and possession of a controlled drug of Class B – cannabis/cannabis resin.
Zain Kabir, 25, of Stoke-on-Trent, has been charged with Section 18 – grievous bodily harm with intent and theft.
It comes after we were called to Trinity Street in Hanley to reports of disorder just after 4am yesterday morning (Friday 21 July). A man in his late teens had been stabbed.
The victim is still in hospital receiving treatment.
Both men appeared at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre this morning (Saturday 22 July) and have been remanded into custody.
